How to play Snake
- Press Start, then steer with swipes, arrow keys, WASD, or the direction buttons.
- Each piece of food adds one point and makes the snake longer. The walls and your own body end the run.
- Pause whenever you need a break. Leaving the tab pauses automatically; returning never starts the snake without you.
Choose your pace
Relaxed, Steady, and Quick use fixed speeds. The snake does not suddenly accelerate as you score. Each pace keeps its own best score on this device.
Fair turns
You cannot turn straight back into yourself. Two quick turns are queued in order, so a fast corner does not become a missed input. A saved run always waits for you to resume.
Will my game be saved?
Your current game is saved on this device when browser storage is available. Reopening the page lets you resume it. Clearing site data removes that progress. The timer pauses when you leave the tab; New game replaces your current board.
