Balanced quality works well for most photos and scans. If a scan has very small text, choose Keep all current detail under Image quality. Check the downloaded PDF before sending or printing it.
Text in a picture stays part of the picture. This tool does not turn it into searchable or editable text.
Which image formats can I add?
Use still JPG, JPEG, PNG, or WebP files. Transparent areas become white. For HEIC or HEIF photos, convert to JPG or PNG first using the linked tool below.
Will my photos be cropped or changed?
The full image is fitted onto its page without cropping or stretching. Photo orientation is applied. Balanced quality saves images as JPG at up to 2,400 pixels on the longest side; Keep all current detail avoids that resizing and further quality loss. Original photo files are unchanged.
File and page limits
Each image can be up to 25 MB and 24 megapixels, with neither side above 16,384 pixels. A group can contain up to 100 MB and 1,000 images. Keep all current detail supports up to 60 megapixels across the group; use Balanced quality or fewer images for larger sets. These safeguards help keep the browser responsive.
