Use JPG for sharing scans or adding pages to a presentation. PNG keeps text and diagrams crisp without JPG compression. Each selected page becomes one image; multiple pages can be downloaded in a ZIP.
Choose enough detail.
150 dpi is a useful starting point. Choose 300 dpi for small text or printing, or 72 dpi for smaller screen images. Higher resolution increases dimensions and file size. It cannot recover detail missing from a scan.
Can I still select the text?
The exported page is an image. Text, links and form controls are no longer interactive. Keep the original PDF if you need selectable text or a valid digital signature. This tool exports whole pages, not individual pictures embedded inside them.
Which PDFs can I use?
Use an unlocked PDF with up to 1,000 pages. Password-protected PDFs must be saved as an unlocked copy first. Specialized XFA forms are not supported. Check form entries, unusual fonts and annotations in the preview before exporting.
What happens with very large pages?
Each image can contain up to 24 million pixels and be up to 8,192 pixels on either side. If your chosen resolution exceeds that, select a lower resolution. A batch can hold up to 64 MB of images; export fewer pages if you reach that limit. Processing can be cancelled without changing your original PDF.
