What happens to Live Photos and photo collections?

This tool saves the main still photo in each file. Motion, sound, extra photos, depth information, and HDR effects are not included. Colors can look different from the original on your phone.

Why won’t a particular HEIF file convert?

HEIF is a container that can hold different kinds of images. Common HEIC phone photos are supported, but some camera formats are not. If a file fails, export it as JPG from the Photos app on the device that created it.

Will my photo details and colors change?

Photos are turned the right way up. Camera and location details (EXIF metadata) are removed. Original color and print settings are not kept, so colors may change. Keep the original if those details matter.

Which files can I use?

Use still HEIC & HEIF images. Animated images are not supported.

Each image can be up to 25 MB and 24 megapixels, with neither side above 16,384 pixels. Add up to 100 MB at a time. ZIP downloads support up to 64 MB of results; save larger batches individually. These limits help avoid running out of memory.
